Specific objectives |
· Installation of solar system in four schools; · Preparation and conducting of training on renewable energy to project staff; · Assessment of preselected new renewable sites (business & schools); · Field training of local counterpart electrician and community maintenance personnel; · Developing manuals for small and medium solar home systems. |

Results |
· Solar systems have been installed in four schools of Pushti Kurghon (1), Shing (2) and Neknot (1) villages; · A training on renewable energy was conducted to four staff of the WHH branch in Panajkent district; · Assessment of school #213 in Neknot village was conducted and school was selected for installation of solar panel system; · Practical training on the correct installation of solar systems and the technical aspects of safe use of solar systems was provided to four target schools, local colleagues and maintenance staff. During the training two responsible persons from each target schools have been participated; · Manuals for small and medium solar home systems were developed and disseminated among project staff. |
