Specific objectives |
· Conduct an impact assessment for solar system adoption; · Develop training materials and publications on solar systems; · Build the capacity of local experts in the theory and practice of solar water supply systems; · Establish links between beneficiaries and solar irrigation system dealers. |

Results |
· An impact assessment on the adoption of solar energy systems was conducted. · Training materials and four types of informational publications on solar energy systems were developed and distributed to agricultural specialists, farmers, financial service providers, and stakeholders at various levels. · Technical training sessions were conducted in both districts to enhance the skills of 61 local specialists (including five women) in the theory and practice of using solar water supply systems. · To support the promotion of solar water supply systems, connections were established between beneficiaries and solar irrigation system dealers. |
