Goal |
To reduce firewood consumption and emissions in the target area, improve the climate resilience of small farmers and make a significant contribution to forest conservation. |

Specific objectives |
Implementation and dissemination of EE cooking and heating technologies, as well as resource-saving technologies in agriculture, installation of regenerative energy systems, and forest management reforms, combined with the restoration of degraded areas. |

Results |
· 110 field promoters trained (of which 95 women) and implemented energy efficiency technologies by raising awareness of 2,865 people (2,262 women) and implemented and installed 2,793 units of energy efficiency technologies in 2,278 households, and 1700t of CO2 emissions saved. · 6 micro-hydropower plants have been installed. · 20 hybrid solar photovoltaic systems have been installed for various enterprises. · 10 agricultural cooperatives (700 members) have converted production to climate-adapted and climate-resilient cultivation methods. · 32.75 ha of new orchards established · Using a water-saving irrigation system, 51.15 hectares of land were irrigated. · Capacity building activities were conducted for 633 decision makers and representatives of agricultural agencies. · Ten JFM groups were created and 311.6 hectares of forest were leased as part of a joint forest management approach. · 7,000 meters of JFM land were fenced off. · Rehabilitation and afforestation work were carried out on an area of 110.64 hectares. · 15363 firewood seedlings were planted. |
